How ranking works

Draft — pending legal review

The order of results

During the pilot, results in Explore are grouped by service and listed in alphabetical order of the provider’s trade name. Filters you choose (service, barrio, language) only include or exclude results; they do not change the order.

What does not affect the order

Payments: no provider can pay to appear higher.
Declined requests: a provider who declines a request is not moved down.
Ratings: ratings are never used to sanction a provider.

Sample listings

While Veraz is a demo, every listing is sample data and carries a “Sample” badge.

Changes

If the way we order results changes, we update this page before the change applies.
